VIRTUS TRAINING SESSIONS (link) for school volunteers
VIRTUS is a national program designed to equip adults with the tools to recognize inappropriate behavior towards children and vulnerable adults. The Diocese of Trenton requires anyone over the age of 18 who participates in one or more volunteer ministries to attend a 3–hour VIRTUS session every four years.

Begin the Registration Process
From the drop-down menus select Trenton, NJ (diocese).
Please create a user id and password that you will use to access your account.
Follow prompts to start registration, choose from any sessions that have availability.
After your session is complete you may return to print out the certificate if needed. Please provide a copy of Virtus certificate to lead contact of the volunteer organization, ministry or the school main office.
What this means is that every adult who currently volunteers for SML Church, School, PREP or SMLS Sports and has not previously attended a VIRTUS session, or who have not taken a refresher course within the past four years, must attend a class as soon as possible.
VIRTUS Training Sessions are offered at parishes throughout the Diocese.
During the months of September and October. These sessions will be presented in the Parish Meeting Room (at the back of the School).
Thank you for your volunteerism at St. Mary of the Lakes School.
