VOOKS- Parents get a one month free subscription to these animated stories for Kids 2 through 8 years of age!
BOOKBUB- is an email newletter that you can tailor to your interests. they have free and low cost kindle, nook, and i-tune books for all ages.
Magic Keys- This site has illustrated stories for all ages. They are not read aloud.

At St Mary of the Lakes Media Center, a love of reading is fostered and students are instructed in library and research skills.
SML library contains many resources for fun and informative reading as well as academic research materials for students and faculty. Laptops, ipads and printers are available for use in the library.
The students use an online library catalog, Alexandria, which is accessible from anywhere with an internet connection.
The Media Center is open to all St. Mary of the Lakes students daily Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 2:30 PM.

Media Center Schedule 2019-2020
Monday- Kindergarten and First Grade
Tuesday- 8th Grade and 5B
Wednesday- Pre-K 3, 4A/B, 6th grade, 5A
Thursday- 7th Grade
Friday- 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Grades
Checking Out Books
K-2nd grade students may check out one book weekly. A book can be renewed for one additional week.
3 - 8th grade students may check out two books out for 15 school days, and may renew for an additional 15 days.
Overdue Notices
NOTE: If a student has an overdue book, the overdue book must be returned BEFORE the student can check out another book from the Media Center.
Overdue notices are sent home to parents every Friday.
If the student does not return the book by the following Friday, parents will receive a second notice by e-mail.
The third notice is mailed to the parents.
The media center will renew the book and encourage the student and parents to continue looking for the book. After 8 weeks, a notice with a bill will be sent.
Lost Books
When a student checks out a book from the Media Center, it becomes his/her responsibility to return the book to the Media Center. If a book is lost, the student will receive a bill for the replacement cost of the book.
Library Card
To apply for a library card in any of the Burlington County Libraries, a parent must have a photo ID when applying for a BLINC Library Card.
