St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church and School in Medford, is seeking a full-time 5th grade homeroom teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. Our school is growing with about 340 students enrolled in PreK-8th Grades. The teacher will be responsible for a 5th grade homeroom and for teaching multiple content areas to 5th/6th graders. Successful candidates will demonstrate an understanding of best educational practices including differentiated instruction and a belief in constructivist learning. Candidates should have experience teaching and be committed to a Catholic education. Minimum qualifications include holding a NJ Elementary Teaching Certificate and/or Middle School Teaching Certificate with Content Area Endorsement as well as a good working knowledge of Google Classroom and different technology platforms. This position is ideal for someone who is looking for a close knit school community where you can actively practice your faith. Successful candidates will be subject to fingerprinting/background check and will also have to attend Virtus training .
