Confirmation Requirements: Students begin their three year Preparation Program in 6th grade with the Sacrament of Confirmation celebrated in 8th grade.

6th Grade is responsible for Questions 1-47 (Fall); 1-87 (Spring) 7th Grade is responsible for Questions 1-87 ( Fall); 1-170 ( Spring) 8th Grade is responsible for Questions 1-170 There will be tests and quizzes periodically throughout the school year.
Service Hours: 30 community service hours (completed between grades 6-8) .
Hours can be completed with any non-profit, church, or charitable organization whose
mission does not go against the teachings of the Catholic Church. Students will not
receive credit for volunteering with any organization which supports, promotes, or funds
embryonic stem cell research or which violates the sanctity of life. Hours can carry over yearly;
all 30 hours MUST be completed by December 31st of the student's 8th grade year. Chores at
home do not constitute service! 8th graders must complete a paper on Servant Leadership and reflect on what they have learned from the service projects they undertook.
Students are free to find any volunteer opportunities. There are many groups and
organizations in Medford and the surrounding communities that frequently need
volunteers such as Medford Cares, The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, The Christian
Caring Center, and the Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge and MYAA.
