Math - Zoom Meeting at 11:15!
1.) Read page 266 in your Math textbook. Note that the top of a fraction is called the "numerator" and the bottom of a fraction is called a "denominator." The top represents the number of equal parts(numerator) out of the number of parts in the whole set (denominator). The line represents "divided by" or "out of." There is 1 yellow square and 6 purple squares, so 1/6 of the squares are yellow. There are 5 purple squares out of 6, so 5/6 of the squares are purple.
2). Watch the videos.
3.) Practice IXL: P.12 Compare fractions with like numerators or denominators using models
4.) Complete your math workbook page 95. Odd only. You do not need to attach a picture today. You'll do so tomorrow after the entire page is completed.

Today’s readings emphasize the meaning of the words liturgy and sacrament. The liturgy is the official public prayer of the church, and includes the celebration of the Mass and the sacraments. A sacrament is a special sign given to us by Jesus through which we share in God’s life. The sacraments you have already learned about this year are Baptism, Eucharist and Penance.

Today’s readings teach us about the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, courage, knowledge, piety and fear of the Lord. These all help guys to follow God’s law and live as Jesus did.
1.) Read pages 278-279
2.) Complete the “How can I live out this gift” sections of the chart on page 278.
